When I started taking photos of our first daughter
4 1/2 years ago I tacked blankets to the wall behind our bed and made due with our very basic point and shoot.
With our second child I clipped blankets to foam core propped up in the office (where I could find the best available light). I tucked her in baskets and piled her on towels.
Then a year ago when I started Yvonne Choe Design + Photography I always had the idea of a studio in the back of my mind. I’m so excited that it is finally taking shape! A bit too late for my girls’ baby sessions but I’m so lucky to have friends with adorable little ones that let me borrow them for a session to work out the bugs and get the lighting just right.
This is the daughter of one of my closest friends. I did her newborn session and now she is eight months old. I’m so in love with this little sweetie and my girls had a blast entertaining her and making her smile for our session.
